Regal Heights Initiative

The Regal Heights Initiative is an alliance of Toronto organisations advocating the adoption of a 2 hour time transfer across the city.

Regal Heights Village BIA has partnered with Regal Heights Residents’ Association, TABIA (Toronto Area Business Improvement Association) and TTCriders to advocate for the inclusion of the 2 hour time based transfer in the upcoming TTC Budget Allocation Board Meeting being held on November 13th 2017.

On September 3, 2017, the TTC discontinued the 2 hour time based transfer along the 512 St. Clair Avenue route.  Regal Heights Village BIA saw a huge disruption to the businesses and residents along St. Clair and began advocating to bring forward a solution to either keep the 2 hour time based transfer along the St. Clair route or to have the time based transfer integrated system wide as it is in areas such as Mississauga.  A group of individuals from each organisation along with community members have met and are working hard to move forward with what is now the Regal Heights Initiative.
